Primary function is to pry hive open with the 2-sided blade, by breaking through the propolis that makes it stick together. The bent scraper serves to nudge frames apart and scrape clean. The J-hook aids in lifting frames out. The small opening is a nail puller. These can tackle a wide variety of beekeeping tasks easily and effectively.
